Originally, Generations To Come was founded in the late eighties in an urban section of Dallas, Texas. Created in an effort to engage and educate at-risk young men in the urban area of South Dallas Successful businessmen enlightened and introduced the young men to the world that existed outside of their realm of existence, and instructed them how to navigate that new terrain.
In 2010, James Simons saw a similar need in his community and made a commitment to the enlightenment and habilitation of the South Norfolk Community. Having been one of the original benefactors of the Generations To Come Program, he recognized that by educating and supporting the youth in the community, you could transform the tenor of the community and the future will loom bigger and brighter one child, one team, one season at a time.

Generations To Come is a non-profit organization comprised of individuals from various backgrounds that have come together for the purpose of enriching the lives of the children in their communities. We here at Generations To Come are committed to forging and fostering a partnership with today’s youth in the pursuit of academic and personal excellence through fellowship, tutoring, community service, mentorship, and athletics. We strive to enable every child to perform to their particular potential by facilitating opportunities for personal growth and development while providing life skills.
